Here at Digg, we try our best to cover the most important and confounding memes that come across the timeline. But the web is littered with tons of great memes that never quite hit the mainstream and instead just bounce around the weird corners of Twitter or Reddit. Enter our recurring feature, Memes, Ranked.

This week, we're listing difficult tasks, sharing notes app screenshots, saying farewell to George Santos and reacting to the death of a notorious human rights abuser.

4. What's harder than this?

The Meme

A very buff fellow going by @coach.bluee on Instagram posted a video archiving a wild athletic feat. In turn, folks on X went buck-wild imagining tasks that are even more challenging than this weird and near-impossible hover-weightlifting exercise. Seems pretty hard to beat though.

3. Quoting your notes app

The Meme

The notes app has evolved in the smartphone era as a wonderful thing. Forever stigmatized by its "apology" association, it's also where people scribble down the most incredulous things when left to their own devices. When a post asked people to share a glimpse of their notes app, everyone delightfully obliged.

2. George Santos being ousted

The Meme

George Santos might be the most scandalous person we learned about this year, and after a truly staggering run of criminal accusations, headlines, controversies, leaks and "SNL" sketches making fun of him, he's been expelled from Congress. He's one of the few to ever hold that distinction! The internet really took a liking to his sassy ways and shenanigans, so this is sort of the denouement of the George Santos meme experience.

1. Henry Kissinger dying

The Meme

Last week, Henry Kissinger, one of America's most polarizing political figures, died at the age of 100. Though some see him as a talented and influential foreign policy thinker, many (correctly) consider him to be a war criminal with nothing but contempt for human rights β€” and the latter, understandably, weren't particularly saddened by his passing.

And if you're hungry for more memes, here's the last edition of "The Week's Best Memes,", where we found love "the old-fashioned way," reacted to the new "Saltburn" movie and attributed Scandinavian countries to Daniel Craig's different looks.
