Google has released the roadmap for the development, beta testing, platform stability, and the final release of Android 14, which reveals meet the launch of Huawei HarmonyOS 4 later in the second half of 2023.

The first developer preview is already out for the Pixel devices. However, Google could open early access to other smartphone makers such as OnePlus by April when the open beta campaign kicks off.

For now, there’s no official launch date available but we are likely to hear more on this at the Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) 2023 event.

HarmonyOS 4 promises big upgrades over HarmonyOS 3 and a major restructure in the user interface (UI). Nonetheless, we’ll keep you posted.

According to the information, Huawei P30 and Mate 20 devices currently runs HarmonyOS 2.0. Now, they can participate in the beta activity to test the latest HarmonyOS 3 features ahead of the ahead of public release.

July 11, 2019:

EMUI 9.1.0.175 update for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro brings DC dimming, which reduces frequent flashing or flickering of the smartphones with AMOLED display, causing eye strain.

There is also a new ultra-low latency Bluetooth update that helps reduce the delay in audio sending from the device directly to your connected headsets and speakers. The update is also said to improve the speed and consistency of the in-display fingerprint reader, optimize the camera, fix display colors, optimize phone run stability, and installs May 6, 2019 security patch.

EMUI 9.1.0.153 update for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro installs Dual-View video mode – In this mode, two rear cameras work at the same time allowing you to watch the overall view of the game and zoom into the players’ exciting actions. You can enjoy the moment from different perspectives with the Huawei Dual-View Video mode.

March 30, 2019:

EMUI 9.1.0.124 update for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro improved the Fingerprint unlock performance. The update also fixed a serious issue with the device’s Always-on display. It enables third-party application notifications when the screen is off, previously it does not show any notification.

Also, fixes an issue that caused audio and video to go out of sync during the playback of Instagram videos recorded in hands-free mode. It fixes an issue where emails with the attachment.
