The latest TAILG brings HarmonyOS features such as APP control, NFC unlocking, mileage prediction, smart fortification, and vehicle inspection. The TAILG HarmonyOS electric scooter packs a 72V23AH graphene battery, a 1000W cloud-powered motor, and a GPS positioning system.

Looking at the price segment, the TAILG HarmonyOS scooter starts at 3899 yuan, and the high-end version is priced at 4588 yuan. This new electric scooter will be sold in offline stores across China.

Last year in August, TAILG and Huawei announced cooperation to upgrade electric vehicles, the two companies will establish a joint innovation laboratory to conduct research on IoT and other technologies. This will also allow both firms to achieve technological advantages.

Established in 2004, TAILG is an enterprise specializing in R&D, manufacturing, sale, and service of new energy electric vehicles, Its products cover electric bikes, electric scooters, electric special bikes, electric tricycles, and other vehicles. It has an annual production capacity of 12 million vehicles and more than 30,000 stores exclusively in China.

In terms of software, Huawei P30 and P30 Pro comes with EMUI 9.1 then upgraded to EMUI 10.0, 10.1, and upgraded to EMUI 11. On the other hand, HarmonyOS 2 operating system for the Huawei P30 device has been released in China and is yet to release in the global market.

July 24, 2019:

EMUI 9.1.0.186 update for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, this update optimizes the fingerprint unlocking performance and enhances the fingerprint unlocking experience.

Additionally, it improves the audio playback effect of some game scenes. This update also added the latest July 2019 security patch. It is currently available in China but will soon be available to other regions.

July 11, 2019:

EMUI 9.1.0.175 update for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro brings DC dimming, which reduces frequent flashing or flickering of the smartphones with AMOLED display, causing eye strain.

There is also a new ultra-low latency Bluetooth update that helps reduce the delay in audio sending from the device directly to your connected headsets and speakers. The update is also said to improve the speed and consistency of the in-display fingerprint reader, optimize the camera, fix display colors, optimize phone run stability, and installs May 6, 2019 security patch.

June 12, 2019:

Particularly for P30 Pro, the update adds AR Measure to the automatic measurement of certain objects. Moreover, it also includes the May 2019 security patch.

April 28, 2019:

EMUI 9.1.0.153 update for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro installs Dual-View video mode – In this mode, two rear cameras work at the same time allowing you to watch the overall view of the game and zoom into the players’ exciting actions. You can enjoy the moment from different perspectives with the Huawei Dual-View Video mode.

March 30, 2019:

EMUI 9.1.0.124 update for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro improved the Fingerprint unlock performance. The update also fixed a serious issue with the device’s Always-on display. It enables third-party application notifications when the screen is off, previously it does not show any notification.

Also, fixes an issue that caused audio and video to go out of sync during the playback of Instagram videos recorded in hands-free mode. It fixes an issue where emails with the attachment.

We are well aware of the services and benefits that Google provides to its Android users. So far, Huawei has also remained in this beneficial group in the initial days. Unfortunately, these benefits come to a shutdown in May 2019.

The Google absence story begins with the U.S. emperors who prohibited Huawei and some other Chinese manufacturers to enter the U.S. borders. Ultimately, this step has become a huge obstacle for the tech maker and has affected various fields including the chipset market.

Alongside the tech segments, the event also made Google pull its hands from Huawei sectors. As a result, after 2019, none of the Huawei devices exhibited any Google apps or services.

Although, some users were having vast technical knowledge and tried installing the Google apps and mobile services to their Huawei phones. Yet, Google has blocked such inappropriate pathways with the subsequent updates.

New leaps – HarmonyOS and AppGallery

The absence of Google Mobile Services means losing some prominent apps from your smartphone. For instance, Gmail, Maps, YouTube, and most importantly – the Play Store. Hence, the absence of Google gave a loud blow to Huawei.

Consequently, the company started drowning in the smartphone market. The sales dropped extremely and users’ interest in Huawei phones started fading. But the company didn’t give up and made a leap on the surface with the HarmonyOS system.

After several efforts, Huawei launched the self-developed HarmonyOS operating system in August 2019. Originally, it was only covering IoT (Internet of Things) devices. Later on, it started making its way to Huawei smartphones.

More on this, the company introduced AppGallery, which became a safer alternative to Google Play Store. Although it has fewer apps than Play Store, some other AppGallery facilities excel from other app distribution platforms.

Thereafter, Huawei also introduced the EMUI operating system for its global users. Notably, EMUI is an Android-derived mobile operating system that is available in Huawei smartphones for the global market.

Huawei still trying to cope with the world

Even though numerous things were against Huawei, it managed and still trying to survive without Google. The latest and high-end technologies show how the company has taken Google’s absence as a challenge and come up with good enough outcomes.

However, difficulties continue to emerge in Huawei’s path. Though the decline has been slowed down, it has not halted, and the loss continues.

But the appreciating fact is Huawei well-managed and appeared as a strong contender in front of the robust challenges. If there was any other company in place of Huawei, it would have been turned into ashes. But this tech giant is quite headstrong to get defeated.

In this segment, Huawei has revealed the EMUI 12 official roadmap for the Middle East region that brings us information regarding the eligible devices, rollout start date, and current status of devices.

In January, Huawei began the rollout of stable EMUI 12 for flagship devices followed by prominent smartphones. So far, Huawei has upgraded Mate Xs, P40 Pro+, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 30 Pro, Nova 7, P40 lite 5G, P40, Mate 20 X 5G, nova 7, and Mate 20 X.

Meanwhile, the company is still pushing EMUI 12 for P40 Pro, Mate 30 Pro 5G, Nova 7i, P40 Lite, P30, Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 Rs Porche Design, P30 Pro, and Nova 5T smartphones along with P30 Lite, P40 Lite models and more.

Speaking about EMUI 12, this EMUI software version is fully inspired by HarmonyOS 2.0 system. It brings a fresh user interface, new animation effects, Device+ to connect multiple devices at the same time, Huawei Share for fast file transfer, and much more.

The good news is sneaking from the Weibo blog of @WangzaiIshitong. Breaking out the surprising information, the blogger clarifies that Huawei has upgraded Mate 50 with HarmonyOS 3.0 update for enhancing the user experience to more extent.

Apart from the Mate 50 series, the blogger also draws attention to the new version of Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2. He states that the FreeBuds Pro 2 headsets are also receiving a new HarmonyOS build that can be compatible with the Mate 50 models.

This indicates that Huawei Mate 50 will eventually support the FreeBuds Pro 2 earbuds with HD spatial audio. Thus, Mate 50 users will get a huge bag of surprising elements, and various new tweaks to their dynamic smart gadget. The info also suggests that currently the update is rolling for Mate 50 Pro, and will soon appear for other devices as well.
