According to the changelog, HarmonyOS 2.0.0.198 update for Huawei Enjoy 50 is fetching new system stability improvements along with better performance. Yet, users first have to download HarmonyOS 2.0.0.196 to upgrade to the latest version.

Recently, Huawei also sent EMUI 9.1.0.301 for Enjoy 9e with a number of new additions. The upgrade is released during the rollout for Enjoy 50.

In June, Huawei Enjoy 50 launched with a 6.75-inch screen size, 16.7 million colors, TFT LCD type, and HD+ resolution (1600 x 720 pixels). The phone measures 168.3mm in length, 77.7mm in width, 8.98mm in thickness, and 199 grams in weight. There are three colors to choose from – Crystal Blue, Pearl White, and Midnight Black.

It brings dual rear camera system consisting of a 13-megapixel main camera (f/1.8 aperture) and a 2MP depth-of-field camera (f/2.4 aperture). The rear camera has modes of Normal photo, portrait photo, professional mode, and panorama mode.

The latest software update for Huawei Enjoy 50 is expanding in batches and may take some to cover all of the available models. We suggest you make a backup of important files, to prevent unnecessary data loss.

Also, make sure your smartphone is not rooted and updated to the latest HarmonyOS firmware.

The leaked design of the Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro shows a ring camera bump design that looks identical to the Huawei Mate 40, the camera has a text label of “AI Camera”. Looking further, the phone’s rear design seemingly featured a white gradient finish with hues. Coming to the front side, the phone doesn’t show any sign of a front-facing camera but it could have a center hole punch on the top.

Let’s move on to the specs:

Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro is equipped with a 2.4GHz octa-core processor, the phone uses a 6.7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels, and supports a high refresh rate for smoother graphics.

Adding to this, the phone uses an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. There’s a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera + dual 2-megapixel supporting cameras. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 40W fast charging.

That’s not it, the phone retains a 3.5mm headphone jack along with supports side fingerprint recognition. From the software side, the phone will provide new features powered by HarmonyOS operating system. The right side of the phone has consist of two physical buttons for power and volume.

Huawei Enjoy 50 houses 6.75-inch display with HD+ resolution. Meanwhile, it is powered by HiarmonyOS with a new user interface and smart features like the super device feature.

According to the information coming from well known Weibo tipster, the Kirin 710A processor used in the Huawei Enjoy 50 has achieved high performance on the Antutu benchmark. The phone has scored 226225 points. The tipster suggests that this could be an improved version of the Kirin 710 chipset more likely Kirin 710+ but we’ve no inputs or confirmation about its name or any difference from the last generation of the chipset.

It’s being said that the performance of the chipset has been improved and it could be a new processor. The tipster embraces that Huawei is continuously working on resolving some issues with its 5G smartphone modem issue and let’s hope that it could come with something blasting next year.

Kirin 710A Processor:

The HiSilicon Kirin 710A is an ARM-based mid-range Octa-Core processor. It is based on the Kirin 710 (initial version) but manufactured in 14nm FinFET at SMIC (China) as compared to the TSMC in 12nm.

The octa-core architecture includes 4x Cortex-A73 at up to 2GHz, and 4x Cortex-A53 at up to 1.7 GHz at up to 1.7GHz. However, the CPU part is similar to the Kirin 960 and 970, while the graphics card is a lot slower.
