Honor ViewPad 6 and X6 tablets launched with SMIC’s Kirin 710A, ViewPad V6 gets new Silver variant
On July 16, Honor introduced two new tablets – Honor ViewPad 6 and ViewPad X6 equipped with SMIC’s Kirin 710A processor. In addition to these two new launches, the previously introduced – Honor ViewPad V6 is also getting a new color.

Honor ViewPad 6 sports a 10.1-inch fullHD+ (1920 x 1080) display with 16:10 aspect ratio, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 224PPI, 80.6% screen to body ratio, and 5mm bezels. The tablet is 7.55mm thick and weighs at 460g.
Honor ViewPad 6 packs with a 5100mAh battery + USB Type-C charging port. From the camera side, it equips a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.
The Honor ViewPad 6 supports 4096 level-pressure sensitive Honor Magic-pencil, Honor Smart Bluetooth Keyboard. The tablet comes with a new design that has Gray and Mint Green color options.

Honor ViewPad X6 features a 9.7-inch HD+ (1280 x 800) display with 156 PPI and 75.6% screen to body ratio. The tablet is 7.55mm thick and weighs at 460g.
Honor ViewPad X6 packs with a 5100mAh battery that recharges with 10W charging + USB Type-C charging port. The battery can stand up to 32 hours on 4G Talktime. On the camera side, it has a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP selfie camera.
Honor ViewPad X6 only comes in Mint Green color options.
Honor ViewPad X6 and ViewPad 6 comes with Histen sound effects for maximum entertainment. Honor ViewPad 6 runs Magic UI 3.1 (EMUI 10.1/Android 10) with the support of GPU Turbo 3, Multiscreen collaboration, Multi-window multitasking, and more.
Kirin 710A:
Honor ViewPad 6 and ViewPad X6 are the first tablets to powered by Kirin 710A processor. The architecture of this chipset includes 4×Cortex A73 2.0GHz + 4×Cortex A53 1.7GHz. On the other hand, it has Malig G51 GPU.

Honor has announced a new Titanium Silver color variant for Honor ViewPad V6 tablet, priced at 2499 CNY.
Today, Huawei officially launched MatePad SE 10.4 in China with 6GB of RAM, which wasn’t available in the global market. Huawei is rolling out HarmonyOS 3.0.0.193 software update for two tablets – MatePad 11 and MatePad Pro 10.8. This update comes with new improvements for these large-screen devices.
Huawei is rolling out HarmonyOS 3.0.0.193 for MatePad 11, upgrading from HarmonyOS 3.0.0.190/163. While on the other hand, Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 is getting HarmonyOS 3.0.0.193 upgrading from HarmonyOS 3.0.0.163. Below you can check the eligible tablet models to get a new software update.

To be mentioned, this firmware is only available for the Chinese models.
According to the changelog, Huawei is adding a feature that supports two pairs of Bluetooth earphones simultaneously to allow people to listen to songs together.
This new firmware adds support for the PC mobile engine, which would enable to use of the PC version of the WPS office on a tablet. Furthermore, Huawei is installing the latest security patch for these two tablets with January 2023 HarmonyOS security update.
