Recently, the China Association of Communications Enterprises announced the results of the annual selection activity of “ICT China (2022) Case Collection and Release”. The “RoCE Lossless Ethernet-Based Customer Service Distributed Cloud System” project jointly declared by Huawei stood out and won the Outstanding ICT “Innovative Application” award along side China Mobile.

This ICT award fully affirms China Mobile customer service distributed cloud system and Huawei data center intelligent lossless Ethernet storage network and demonstrates Huawei’s important role in helping operators build an industry-leading intelligent customer service distributed cloud system.

The development of Chinese internet-based service has brought changes in the customer service business. FhuThe scale of online marketing service businesses is growing rapidly. From 2016 to 2021, the compound annual growth rate of the market scale of China’s online marketing industry is about 20%-30%. The continuous increase in the amount of production data and the frequency of reading and writing of business systems poses a huge challenge to the functions and performance of the business support system infrastructure.

To this end, China Mobile has built a customer service distributed cloud system. In the distributed cloud system, the industry usually adopts the traditional Ethernet network.

However, under the high-performance and fast-changing business system, the disadvantage of natural packet loss is magnified and becomes the bottleneck of business performance improvement.

To solve these issues, Huawei and China Mobile have deployed an intelligent lossless Ethernet storage network in the customer service distributed cloud system, greatly improving service performance and customer experience.

The intelligent lossless Ethernet storage network reduces the service end-to-end delay by introducing the RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access) protocol into the Ethernet network, effectively reducing the intelligent traffic interaction delay by about 200 milliseconds, and improving the user’s online experience.

The high-performance RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet, RDMA based on Converged Ethernet) lossless technology achieves zero packet loss in network transmission and improves the overall performance by more than 30%. The ultra-wide bearer and second-level convergence feature greatly improve business stability.

Runhe software HarmonyOS RISC-V

RISC-V:

RISC-V (“risk-five”) is an instruction set architecture (ISA) rooted in reduced instruction set computer (RISC) principles. RISC-V is unique, even revolutionary because it is a common, free, open-source ISA to which software can be ported, hardware can be developed, and processors can be built to support it.

RISC-V supports the most common proprietary ISAs including X86, ARMv8, and AMD64. This makes the chips compatible with most of programs and applications.

This platform has zero new technology but it has gained immense popularity in the international market over the past 10 years.

In 2015, the RISC-V foundation was created in partnership with 29 founding members after the original developers transferred RISC-V rights to the foundation.

In 2020, RISC-V was renamed as RISC-V Internation following its incorporation in Switzerland. Since then the organization has increased to over 2000 members and expanded to over 70 countries across the globe.

Last week, we asked Huawei Watch GT 2 owners about their user experience in 2022, as the watch is completing 3 years of its launch. And, these amazing people have shared their valuable feedback, which we’re going to share with you.

Interestingly, Huawei Watch GT 2 operators have bombarded the thread and you can see them all below about their user experience in 2022. To be mentioned, we took all of the replies from our Twitter thread that we posted and organized them accordingly.

Users Jackob wrote “Have it since Christmas 2020, it’s working flawlessly, no degradation in display, battery after every-day use for 2 years. I miss some functionality, and the watch face market is not great, but it’s a nice watch after all. Not worth the 150 I bought it for though…”

Stefan wrote “I have a GT2 Pro, only thing that annoys me is that all my calls get put to the watch if I have a bluetooth headset connected even if I turn off calls for the watch. Have to manually put the call to my headset every time. Had this problem both on my Oneplus 9 and Samsung s22+”

huawei watch gt 2

Brancatus wrote “Very disappointed that the heart rate monitor and workout data are not accessible by third party apps. For this reason alone will not be buying another Huawei. Otherwise all is fine after 2+ years apart from the gold finish that is peeling off.”

Carlos: “My gt2 does not respond when touching the screen.”

Brian: “Watch face came away from the bezel as I was washing my hands??”

Gabriel Pelin: “Just replaced the battery and the motherboard for second time, hope that from now on will work properly.”

James Muia: “My Huawei GT 2 watch has never let me down.”

HendricoVW: “Been using the @Huawei GT 2 Classic for more than two years now and it still running perfect. This is really a great watch but could do with an update, maybe add some features like assistant, message replies, and an option to add more tiles perhaps. #Huawei #WatchGT2 #Smartwatch”

Einwod: “Everything worked fine for 18 months, then when I’m at sea level, it tells me in 2480m high. Apart from that, this is a fantastic watch. I now have Watch 3 active and the battery life on it sucks.”

Adam Bullied: “Bought for my wife for xmas 2020 for her to track her sleep. It wasn’t very good at that & she didn’t use it. I started wearing it and it’s been on my wrist since. I’ve taken it into the backcountry, tracked my workouts, and it’s my speakerphone of daily use. It’s a great watch.”

Zai Mykaels: “Lasted four months before constantly getting hot and charging to a max of 22%. Battery is a nightmare to get replaced.”

Frappedieros: “Watch is fine, but how about giving us a lap timer function and custom workouts ?”

Naseer Ahmed: “I have a gt 2e and working perfectly.”

Theo77: “I wished they uploaded the HR broadcasting option for gym equipment. There were rumors but it never happened.”

Rich Glover: “Being able to answer calls on my wrist is so much easier than pulling my phone out of my pocket. I have a voice recording of my late father’s voice downloaded to my GT2, which is a comfort to carry with me.”

ioannisgnk: “It’s not a good watch, always having issues with sensor, most of times I need to shake hard for it to open, and it’s not smart at all, it does what a fitband do with the only extra calling and playing music. Okay, it wasn’t that expensive like other watches but still..”

Nkosinathi Khumalo: “I loved this watch. So sad to see it do this… Until the battery dies.”

AngeloAmorato -POGI-: “Still looks new ”

Ulaş Soysal: “It’s amazing, one of the latest updates absolutely refreshed the UI but I’m still mad at huawei for not adding App Support, I’d love a simple ass calculator tbh”

SpyV: “I have the gt2 pro from July 21 and still works flawlessly. Fantastic battery life, built quality and durability, no scratches.”

visage: “Still nice for everyday use. I’m still impressed by the battery duration comparing to an apple watch which costs tonnes of money. The disappointment comes from the fact that the watch screen somehow keeps some previous displayed image and on the watch face there’s a mixture.”

Danny: “My GT2 Pro is just excellent. Only thing is that last update was 6 months ago and it doesn’t seem to be scheduled for more. I hope Huawei won’t abandon this model and updates will keep coming.”

darko kmet: “Gave my away and got watch 3 pro. It was missing alot features so I wasnt really pleased with it… Everything was tageted only for gt2 pro…”

David Lunn: “My screen sometimes gets slow to work, turning it off and on usually fixes that, took the pin function off because of this problem, one time the battery died very quickly but a restart fixed the problem and seems good since, had to change from a Huawei phone to an iPhone no prob”

Lee Howard: “My Gt2 Pro never let’s me down, superb watch. I keep looking at other watches but the gt2 has just the functionality I need. Please keep supporting it in UK Huawei.”

JC Kotze: “I now have the Watch 3. Miss the fantastic battery life of the Gt2 Pro, but then, the 3’s ability to respond to messages is great.”

Mark Watson: “The vibration motor stopped working a year after purchase. Fixed under warranty. I’m a bit disappointed that 3rd app support never came to this watch. I find replying to messages very useful on my new pixel watch which you could never do with GT2. Still a nice design and screen”

alex wong: “Been use GT2 since 2020, free gift came along with Huawei Matebook 14 (during launch). Now battery still pretty good, no issue so far. One of best bang for bucks smartwatch in market, even now latest iteration often offer very good price value. Problem is won’t work well in GMS.”

cal brock: “My watch gets a lot of abuse, I wear it all the time, work, gym, fixing car or motorcycle and it still looks absolutely brand new!! Amazing really because I don’t take care of it!!! It’s amazing”

Jon Allen: “The touch screen is no longer responsive.”

Kieran L: “My GT2E still works like the day I bought it, doesn’t feel slow or outdated. Brilliant bit of kit still to this day.”

Paul: “One of my best buys ever!! Worth every pound. I would like more apps through the next update pls!!”

Zdravko Skeledzic: “Still expecting that upgrade to Harmony OS you promised long time ago, but otherwise excellent shape”

joshua abayomi k: “Trusleep isn’t working on my gt2 pro”

Tomasz Michalski: “My Huawei GT2e works still perfectly. I have no reason to buy an other watch! But I’m wearing the watch with care.”

Pierre van Rensburg: “Why does GT2e not get the new OS?”

Gerhard Eckert: “It worked for me flawlessly for 1.5 years. But in mid 2022 the digitizer started malfunctioning. After replacement of whole screen and frame it’s working as before.”

GoEfqSUej3fgBKP: “Works like on the first day.
The band broke once due to heavy use, but it got replaced very quickly”

Röger Vérèz: “The display just stopped working on the right place to stop me from pressing the tick button while pairing and so now the watch is obsolete and does not even show the right time.
So much for a smart watch”

Abdul Halim: “3 months ago the touch sensor glass of my GT2 stop working. Went Huawei service centre. They quote me the repair cost at S$135. I could get a new one for S$S30 more. Duh”

Mihnea Burada: “I have a Watch Gt 2 Pro and an Honor Magicwatch2 both have connectivity problems and software support has been plain terrible”

Raymond Warren: “Quite a few functions are not displaying , one dual time watch face very annoyingly states “ please set all SHORTCUT IS ON” when trying to set second time zone , and for the bloody life of me I can’t find out what the fcuk it means or how to bleeding reset . Got rid of Huawei”

These are just a few of the user experience shared by the Huawei Watch GT 2 users in the thread

Zhengtong Electronics has made a financial payment scenario and launched a payment password keyboard device ZT925 equipped with OpenHarmony, the open-source HarmonyOS operating system.

According to the information, Huawei and OpenAtom foundation are working together to increase industry partners to adopt the open-source HarmonyOS named OpenHarmony.

The ZT925 payment device has also passed the OpenHarmony 3.1 Release version compatibility evaluation and received the OpenHarmony ecosystem product compatibility certificate.

Adding to this, the device can be equipped with different forms of master devices by applying OpenHarmony’s distributed soft bus technology, so as to adapt to different application scenarios.

The ZT925 electronic payment device integrates financial components such as a password keyboard and a contactless card reader to form a minimal secure payment suite that provides financial payment functions externally.

With OpenHarmony 3.1 Release version, the device has its own distributed networking capabilities. It can automatically discover and complete identity authentication and automatic networking with the main device and expand the financial payment feature of the main device.

After the ZT925 and the main device are powered on respectively, they form a star-shaped network with a stable topology according to their respective preset policies.

HarmonyOS zt925 openharmony

The user handles the business on the main device and transfers the transaction information to the ZT925 through the OpenHarmony soft bus technology in the financial payment transaction link. The indicator light of the remote terminal ZT925 starts to flash and enters the state of financial business processing, responding to the customer’s card swiping and password input on the ZT925.

So far, the main device and ZT925 have completed the payment transaction through the remote linking process. This time, the terminal product makes payment-related security components and general components into independent components, so that the terminal form fits better with the scene and improves the overall portability.

The terminal equipment manufacturers further divide labor, professional security payment manufacturers focus on the development of security components, industry manufacturers focus on general components and business experience, and aggregate different security components through specified strategies to form a super terminal on the merchant side. This contributes to Improving the payment experience and security.

More importantly, for the update of the mainline version of the terminal operating system, the terminals interconnected through the OpenHarmony soft bus only need to do differentiated security certification to quickly iterate industry equipment.

Traditional financial terminals use core boards and extended backplanes to assemble security components such as PIN pads and common components such as display screens and cameras, which cannot well meet the fragmented needs of the industry.

If the scenario needs to add a display screen, it will involve the change of the whole machine. Now, financial components such as PIN pads and card readers are made into independent payment security suites, and the financial part is decoupled.

The OpenHarmony soft bus technology is equipped with different forms of the main equipment to jointly carry and display financial services and help the development of financial services.

OpenHarmony soft bus technology on financial terminals, Zhengtong Electronics starts from the practicality, reliability, security, and scalability of financial terminals, improves the business support capabilities and intelligence level of financial terminals, and meets the needs of fragmented industries.

Furthermore, Zhengtong Electronics has enriched the OpenHarmony soft bus control technology by introducing customized networking strategies to improve the efficiency of financial terminal reconstruction.

Listening to music is one of the favorite habits among individuals. And what if you could enjoy your music without interruptions and with immersive audio quality? To fulfill this wish, EMUI 12 offers efficient Audio Controls.

You may understand the value of non-stop music with effective audio quality. Fortunately, Huawei assumed the expectations of its consumers and implemented the EMUI 12 surface with dynamic Audio features.

It’s not a new addition but it has been relying upon the software system for a long time. However, there are already so many eye-catching features that a user can easily forget about the thoughtful ones.

So, let’s have a glance at the EMUI 12 Audio Controls.

Huawei has designed EMUI 12 ecosystem to allow you to connect your devices with one tap. Whether it’s your smartphone, earbuds, or any other gadget, click once and the interconnection feature will be available at your service.

So far, the pairing between several gadgets was quite complicated. You always have to make a huge round by going to the Settings menu, and then unpairing the earphones from your handset, and so on.

Sometimes, this process becomes so long and time-consuming that it often irritates the users. To give relief, Huawei brought the EMUI 12 and its magical audio functions to the midst of users.

Huawei Nova 10 Pro is a gigantic member of the Nova family. The device comes into existence with several exciting features that can level up the user experience. However, the most reflecting technology of Huawei Nova 10 Pro is its 100W turbo-charging.

Yes, the company has done some amazing work with the Nova 10 Pro charging segments. Although, the devices hold several features to explore. Yet, turbo-charging is something that has drawn my attention a lot.

I think the battery is a very crucial part of a device. While purchasing a new gadget, users often check the battery specifications and its charging abilities. And why not, it is something that will power up our device and will keep it reliable in the time ahead.

Remember, a good battery and excellent charging functions can stretch the phone’s life to a long duration. It’s not us, but Huawei also understands this phrase. Hence, it equipped the latest Huawei Nova 10 Pro with a 100W turbo-charging facility.

100W turbo-charging – how does it work?

The Huawei 100W turbo-charging experience is worth praising. When I tried this technique for the first time, the results were surprising.

Ultimately, when you enable the turbocharging feature, it begins adapting the battery’s abilities. After plugging in the charger, the power suddenly jumps to 87W. After 3 minutes of super-fast charging, the power drops to 57W.

At this range, it continues to charge the device and slowly falls to 30W. Thereafter, it begins the background charging for 2-3 minutes with 26W power. Within or less than 10 minutes, the high-tech charging power up your device completely.

100W Turbo-Charging – good or bad?

Every technology has pros and cons. And so it follows on the charging as well. The turbo-charging may get affected by environmental factors. For instance, the temperature of your room, humidity, and more.

However, when we tried the turbo-charging effect under the ambient temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, the result was quite interesting.

  • At 18.50 – 53% of charging
  • At 18:53 – reaches 67%
  • At 19:00 – 89% of the charging
  • At 19:03 – 100% battery

Consequently, we can say that it takes 18-23 minutes to charge the device from 0 to 100 percent.

Notably, the battery capacity of Nova 10 Pro is only 4500mAh. In that aspect, turbo-charging operates in a very good manner. Moreover, it gradually increases and decreases the power level, so that your device may not get affected.

So far, Huawei has brought this technology with Nova 9 Pro smartphone. And now it’s playing wonders for users. With a 100W fast charger that offers turbo-charging, the device is good to go in your hands.

Any new charging technology is coming?

Well in recent times, we grabbed Huawei under a universal charging tech headline. As per the previous info, Huawei and some other companies have come across the table to find a universal solution for fast-charging adapters.

The new technique known as UFSC fusion (Universal Fast Charging Specification) will improve the charging facility. Further, it will contribute to the fast-charging ecosystem. It’s a simple way to unite different adapters with a revolutionary mechanism.

It’s believed, Huawei is doing great in terms of battery capacity. Even when the battery has low facilities, it is capable of boosting the entire functioning of the device. Well, a user most probably requires a phone that can survive for longer hours even when the battery is at a minimum percent. And the turbo-charging is perfectly offering these services.
